Our Sitters
(If you don't see a specific sitter on here please contact us)

Ashley
Ashley is one of our wonderful sitters as well as one of our our training managers. Ashley volunteered at shelters during high school and went on to work at a small animal hospital for three years. She has also managed a horse-boarding facility for a year, as well as trained horses and given lessons for the past ten years. Academically, Ashley has earned bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Marketing at the University of Colorado. Her own pets currently include Reese, a 4-year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and three Quarter Horses – Crystal, Slim and Sock. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys horseback riding, going to the movies, drawing and shopping.
Melanie

Melanie became a pet sitter after relocating from Florida. She assisted at a veterinary clinic for two years and dedicated hundreds of hours at county animal shelters. Melanie performed the initial foster training for a puppy for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind and has fostered two litters of Havana Brown kittens. The mothers, Jules and Sabella, and one kitten from each litter, Munster and Lina, found a fur-ever home with Melanie and her tuxedo cat, Chevy. Melanie has a degree in Creative Writing from Florida State University and has published many articles on pets such as Maltese Puppy Development, Tropical Aquarium Fish Disorders  and Can canaries live with finches? In her spare time, Melanie enjoys photography, dance & yoga, and exploring Colorado.

Landon
Landon grew up on a farm in South Dakota with his three Husky dogs; Crimson, Koda and Kiska. In South Dakota, Landon worked at a lumber yard and a construction company. When he moved to Denver in June 2010 to be near family, he wanted to become a pet sitter because he enjoys being outside and having fun with pets. Landon will be starting at Metropolitan State College in the fall to pursue a degree in Architecture. In his spare time, Landon enjoys snowboarding and being at the lakes, going to the movies, and Italian food.
Nora

Nora another of our wonderful sitters, Although  Nora has been a citizen of the United States since 1994, she grew up in Austria and relocated to the states in 2006. Nora worked at restaurants in Virginia and California before relocating to Colorado. She hopes to open a restaurant in the future and become a pet parent of two dogs. Nora has an associate’s degree in Cooking & Serving from Austria and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant, Food and Beverage Management at Johnson & Wales University. In the past, Nora has so much enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family that she is excited to be working with animals at Wags N Walks. In her spare time, Nora enjoys skiing, watching movies and traveling the world.

Lydzi

Lynzi became one of our awesome sitters  because she so much enjoys spending time with animals and says she's 'never met a dog or cat she didn't like.' Lynzi is also a professional photographer and volunteers at local shelters to take pictures of the new arrival pets and hopefully improve their chances of being found or adopted from ads on Petfinder.com. She is currently working on her B.A. in Photography at the Art Institute of Colorado and hopes to someday do fashion editorial photography with exotic animals. Lynzi has two dogs, a Collie/Sheltie named Ribbon and a Westie named Princeton, as well as three cats; Mcloven, a grey tabby, Schnitzengiggle, a Russian Blue, and a black DSH named Jezebelle who is expecting kittens in late October. In her spare time, Lynzi enjoys bowling, concerts and traveling the world.
